Real Madrid Manager Zinedine Zidane Wins Best FIFA Men's Coach At Gala Ceremony In London

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has been named the top coach in the world at the Best FIFA Football Awards 2017 . Zidane was named The Best FIFA Men’s Coach 2017 at Monday night’s The Best FIFA Football Awards ceremony at the London Palladium.

The Real Madrid boss beat Chelsea’s Antonio Conte and Max Allegri of Juventus to the prize. Zinedin Zidane went one better than last year after leading his  Real Madrid team to the Champions League title in his first season and did it again in Cardiff.

Last year’s winner and former Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri, was on hand to present the Frenchman with the trophy.After collecting the The Best FIFA Men’s Coach 2017,paid special tribute to the Real Madrid players for making it possible for him to win FIFA’s best coach award.

“This award is also for Allegri and Conte, I never would have thought to have something so beautiful.” said Zidane.

“Thank you to all the coaches but especially the players, this is all yours. Today I won, but you are responsible.”

He also expressed his gratitude at having been given the opportunity to coach at Real.

“Thank Real Madrid because I have been given the opportunity to train these players,” he explained.

“Thank you all, to Cristiano[Ronaldo], Luka[Modric], Sergio[Ramos], Toni[Kroos], Marcelo and all.

“Thanks to Real Madrid for giving me the chance to be here.”

Finally, before he left the stage he gave a special shoutout to his wife who has been with him from the start.

“Thanks to my wife, I love you very much,” he continued.

“You are always there with me and with the family.”
