PFA – Professional Footballers’ Association has officially announced PFA Team of the Year.
Man City and Liverpool dominated the PFA Team of the Year. There’s only one player included who doesn’t play for either Liverpool or Man City.
6 Man City players, 4 Liverpool players and Paul Pogba From Man United is in this year’s PFA Team of the Year but Eden Hazard and other Super stars missed the PFA Team of the year.
Man City got most players in the PFA Team of the Year- Ederson, Sergio Aguero, Raheem Sterling, Fernandinho, Bernardo Silva and Laporte all included.
It’s the first time that Liverpool have four players in the PFA Team of the Year since 1989-90.
Virgin Gan Dijk, Alexander-Arnold, Andy Robertson and Sadio Mane all featured to the PFA Team of the Year.
Virgial Van Dijk is the first Dutch defender to be included in the PFA Team of the Year since Jaap Stam in the 2000-01 campaign.
Van Dijk will be the first defender to win the PFA Player of the Year award since John Terry in 2004/05.
Van Dijk also will be the first time Liverpool player to have picked up consecutive Player of the Year awards since 82/83 and 83/84 – Kenny Dalglish and Ian Rush won it in them years while Mohamed Salah won last season.
