Tenshin Nasukawa, the Japanese kickboxing champion, will not be able to throw a leg kick at Floyd Mayweather during their strictly boxing rules fight.
When asked about Nasukawa ‘s threat, Mayweather’s business partner warned him about the consequences if he breaks the boxing rules.
” There is an undisclosed amount penalty clause in the contract if it uses any MMA moves, ” revealed Team Mayweather.
This would suggest that any breach of the rules of the Japanese kickboxer would be heavily sanctioned, meaning that a large percentage of what is missing would be missed.
The undefeated 50 – 0 boxer was originally believed to leave his comfort zone and play the Japanese kickboxing champion in his own game.
Unfortunately, Mayweather withdrew from the event due to a misunderstanding and a new set of rules was laid down for the match.
Those rules included: three, three – minute rounds, no judges, contested at the 147lbs (pounds) welter weight limit and 8-ounce RIZIN gloves to be used.
Three boxing rounds can only mean that Mayweather uses the event as a simple pay day, the match will not be added to his record as a further plus.
