CIES Football Observatory study: Neymar JR Is The Most Valuable player Than Lionel Messi & Cristiano Ronaldo.

The CIES Football Observatory has published on Monday a new report into the world’s most valuable football players, with Barcelona and Brazil forward Neymar JR leading the list with a value of 246.8 million euros, followed by his Barcelona team-mate Lionel Messi, who is priced at 170.5 million euros.

In December’s CIES Football Observatory list Neymar led the way at 250 million euros, with Lionel Messi’s price then placed at 190 million euros. The main news with regards to changes in the new study is that Manchester United and France international Paul Pogba has moved up in to third position.

Portugal and Real Madrid front man Cristiano Ronaldo, the Ballon d’Or winner and Fifa’s world’s best player, is seventh on the list at 126,5 euros, with his Real Madrid team-mate Gareth Bale 14th and valued at £73.8 million pound, less than the £85.3 milliona pound he cost the La Liga side Real Madrid in 2013.

Atletico Madrid and France star Antoine Griezmann follows his France team-mate, with another Barçelona player, Luis Suarez, completing a top five which features each member of the Barcelona MSN. The total value of the Barça’s forwards line is placed at 562.5 million euros.
